Dr. Mira Dhutia's philosophy is "the art of healing begins with self awareness of the changes needed in one's lifestyle and her role is to teach the individual the steps needed to reach optimal health." It is through this fundamental belief that she diagnoses and creates individualized treatment plans designed with the whole person in mind. With expertise in neuromuscular re-education, sports medicine, core stability training and functional biomechanics, Dr. Dhutia is a board certified chiropractic physician.
She is the founder and Clinic Director of Spinal Rehab and Wellness Center, serving the clientele of the Naperville, Aurora, Oswego and Bolingbrook and surrounding areas.
She has more than 20 years of experience and a proven track record in successfully treating low back and neck pain, pinched nerves and headaches, diabetic neuropathy, whiplash injuries, as well as treating work-related and sports-related injuries. Dr. Dhutia specializes in Diversified Manipulation technique, McKenzie protocols, Flexion and Distraction technique, rehabilitation of the musculoskeletal system and ergonomic evaluation. Additionally, she is certified in disc decompression therapy for herniated and bulging discs and certified in fitting custom-made orthotics for patients with foot problems.
As a native of DuPage County, Dr. Dhutia is active in the local community, contributing as a guest educator and supporting local charity events. She is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the South Asian Chiropractic Association, Illinois Chiropractic Society and local Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Sangha remains committed to providing each patient the tools to not only extinguish pain, but to live a functional life of fulfillment by empowering patients to be masters of their own vitality. He is dedicated to taking an integrated, individualized approach that encompasses evaluation of each individual's mindset, movement and metabolism.
To achieve the patient's treatment goals and restore function, Dr. Sangha utilizes Diversified Technique, Neuromuscular Re-Education, Postural Control, Ergonomic Evaluation and Functional Rehabilitation in conjunction with Nutrition and Lifestyle counseling when appropriate.
Acupuncture, Cupping, Instrument Assisted Soft-Tissue Mobilization, Myofasical Release Technique, Athletic Taping, and Flexion-Distraction Technique are incorporated to reduce pain, remodel tissue and alleviate symptoms as they apply to each individual patient.
Dr. Sangha is a graduate of National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois and holds a certification by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP ®). He has completed additional training in McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis Therapy, Sports Performance Psychology and the management of Parkinson's Disease with Acupuncture. He is also an active member of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP ®) as well as the American Chiropractic Association (ACA).
